Sandra has been teaching painting and sculpting for over 20 years both privately and with the YMCA in the Toronto area, for St. Lawrence College Continuing Education program; Iohahi:io Adult Education Center on the Mohawk territory; The City of Cornwall Parks and Recreation programs and for 10 years in her studio in Cornwall, Ontario.

Sandra is a mentor, creative coach and writer. Her weekly column, 'Postcards from the Right Side of My Brain', appeared in The Local Seeker Newspaper in Cornwall, Ontario, for four years.  Sandra's column has inspired her to write a book on living life as an Artist called 'The Rules for Painting and Life'.  Read excerpts of her book in this Website and watch for the E-book coming out in the spring of 2018.

During the Parade of Nations 2015 Multicultural Festival, Sandra Taylor-Hedges, who has the organization's cause at heart, offered her services, free of charge, to create a logo for the Different Abilities of Talented Artists (D.A.T.A.) Program of Parade of Nations for the Developmentally Challenged.
