Audry Johnson MacDonald of Glen Robertson Road, a professional entertainer and puppeteer who began making puppets and performing when she was 14, demonstrated the puppets she hand carves herself, inducing the undressed large marionette at left with complicated tongue-and-groove joints. She was one of several people to attend the second annual Wood Fair in Dunvegan.
